When lumber arrives at our facilities, it is carefully handled, stacked, seasoned, and stored to preserve its natural beauty. We personally kiln dry all our lumber and monitor each step of the drying process to produce stress free lumber with an average 5 to 7 percent moisture content.

Acquiring and seasoning our lumber is just the beginning. From there we combine modern technology and decades of woodworking experience to produce components to your exact specifications. Our three manufacturing facilities combine to give Catawissa Lumber & Specialty Co. over 155,000 square feet of production space ready to serve your needs. Whether you are looking for panels or semi-machined components, our facilities are equipped to handle almost any capacity on a Just-In-Time (JIT) basis. This reduces or eliminates your costs associated with carrying large inventories or owning capital intensive, in-house manufacturing facilities.
